MLM Companies Storytell to Success

If you have ever dreamed of a lifestyle that included being your own boss and having a lot of flexibility in the way you schedule your time, then network marketing opportunities, also known as MLM companies, might just be the perfect ticket for you.

Some people shy away from network marketing companies because of the recruiting aspect, or finding new people to join you in the business as part of your downline. But, one of the absolute essentials in any business if finding a segment of the market where there is a high demand and then doing your best to meet that demand and fill that need.

The good news is that creating a "freedom lifestyle" that gets you out of a cubicle and into control of your own time and talents is in huge demand. People are coming out of the woodwork looking for legitimate work from home business opportunities. In that case, the network marketing businesses themselves become another commodity in demand as the vehicle for people to attain their dreams.

So, in essence MLM companies are really meeting two different demands. One is for the product or service that is being marketed, and the other is the vehicle that allows people to create large, lucrative incomes from their homes.

When looking to join a network marketing company, it is very important to look at these two aspects, because it is the combination of the two that will create a true opportunity to change your life by becoming a professional network marketer.

Successful networking companies will almost always have unique and high-quality products, as compared to what you can find in stores. This helps to set them apart with a unique selling proposition, or USP, which is a marketing term that describes an important consideration in marketing of defining how your product stands out from the others.

Almost all network marketing companies that thrive are also very good at weaving an interesting and compelling story around their flagship product. The old adage that facts tell, but stories sell, is see masterfully at work in many of the top network marketing companies. And, because so many of the MLM products are innovative and unique, it requires a lot more than a tiny spot on a packed shelf to gain attention, bringing back to the unique selling proposition and a good story.

If you find a company with a unique product and a good story to tell about it, you are halfway there. The second aspect to review is the vehicle, or the company itself. The three main areas to look at are its stability and track record, the corporate leadership and their experience, and the compensation plan and how fair and well thought out it is.

After you have made up a list of MLM companies that you feel are good candidates based on the above criteria, then it's time to narrow down your choices and start looking for the right sponsor. You want to be sure your sponsor has enough experience to help you learn the important aspects of the network marketing company you have chosen, and that they have strong support from their upline as well. Choosing the wrong sponsor, no matter how great the product or the company, can leave you floundering instead of flourishing in your new business.

MLM's are not even close to a good business model. I know, as I have been involved with 3: Mary Kay (wife), Creative Memories (wife) and Quixtar (myself). These are 3 of the larger MLM/Direct Sales companies out there. And for the amount of effort you must put in them, the ROI is not enough.

Plus, you are now paying top prices for average crappy products. And for what purpose? To be financially free. Yeah, right, if only everyone BELOW you buys a bunch of crappy products.

MLM is based all on recruiting. There is no arguing this fact. If you do not get all of your friends and family to get in, then you are not going to make any money.

And yes, there are some people very high up making some pretty good money, but they got in at the very beginning.

If you want in now, you will not make anything, and you will have a closet full of inventory you will never use.

Stick to building you own business.

Mike - thank you for your coment. Your and your wife's experience is typical in the MLM industry which is unfortunate. The reason this happens is because so many people do not know how to grow their MLM business the right way. Often the sponsor, or upline, teaches the wrong methods or worse tells their downline to buy the products making him/her rich and the dowline broke. This is not how it should be donw and anyone who has seen success has helped their downline the right way.

Yes you can make money by recruiting others, but this should not be the only method to make money with an MLM company. If the products are no good then you will have difficulity making any sales or recruiting anyone.

I suggest you download our free report and learn the lazy method of growing your MLM business using the power of the internet - and here is a hint - recruiting your friends and family is a path to faliure in MLM.
